There is room to expand the building for café/gift shop and specialised video room.

The house is brick/veneer with 2 bedrooms, large open house living area, bathroom with spa, built in wardrobe/storage and laundry with workshop. It is designed to be extended depending on the individuals needs. It is heated/cooled with ducted reverse cycle and is fully insulated both ceiling and walls.

The adjoining vacant block is currently our back lawn! It is zoned “special” and can be improved in any manner: accommodation, workshop, office, further telescopes, garden, and restaurant or to increase house size.

Currently only open at night from 7pm till 10pm, 6 nights a week. (EDST 8:30pm to 10pm), the observatory could operate for longer hours particularly by opening during the day.

The Observatory has room for growth with both further promotion and enlargement of the facilities. The hours of work also allow us to have “day” jobs as teachers.
